2016-05-01 05:10:00 | Brother mfc-j480w printer Has there been a tutorial made on filling the LC 233 ink cartridges ? If there has I have not been able to find it. Can anyone offer advice or a pointer please? Cheers.

2016-05-01 06:20:00 | Reason I ask this is because I don't want to drill holes wily nily in the cartridge to fill it and then have to plug them. The refill kit is severely lacking in instructions but it includes a drill and plugs and small ball bearings ? Confused.

2016-05-01 08:46:00 | sort of. This only covers 203: 205: 207 and 209 though not the 233 series. Are they the same ?? The case of the 20x is in 2 parts whereas the 233's are one piece.

2016-05-02 00:19:00 | WILL void your warranty. Just use the genuine inks while your printer is still under warranty. The LC233 inks are actually pretty decent value compared to some. The quality of the refill ink is very poor too so don't expect things to be the same quality. | wratterus (105) | |
2016-05-02 00:36:00 | You will have drill holes. The refill ink has to get in there somehow I just buy new compatibles , its just easier than refilling . And you can then keep the original cart for warranty purposes :) Just expect the occasion dud , but the cost more than makes up for that. Blacks(txt) are usually OK, colors often sub-par on refills/compatibles .

2016-05-02 06:40:00 | The place to drill is above the letters near the top. I guess the best way to see this is to look up refillable cartridges of this type to see how its done. Thats usually the best way to see how you do it for any cartridge if you have no guides. | Kame (312) | |
