1419490 2016-04-22 23:16:00 Hey team, some help would be appreciated

My laptop is just over 2 years old, and for the last few months every time I start it up it is PAINFULLY slow. It's running at 100% disk usage, and I have to wait about half an hour before I can use it.

It's been in to PB Tech (where I bought it) to be checked and they said they couldn't find anything wrong.

I've removed as many programs as I can afford to, cleaned it up, and made sure all the updates and firmware is up to date, still no luck.

Here's my CrystalDisk and Speccy stats attached. Can anyone help me troubleshoot what might be wrong? It's a Toshiba Sattelite Ultrabook U840W

Try Ccleaner for a start, then maybe Malwarebytes and an Antivirus scan. If you are only using the default anti-virus I suggest using the NOD32 online scanner instead for this time at least.

Check your startup items and remove any you don't need - Ccleaner can do that as well. A lot of programs that put themselves in the startup really don't need to be there or to run all the time.
