| 1419159 | 2016-04-14 16:24:00 | I'm constantly getting errors on a Litescribe CD/DVD/BT optical that tells me the media I am using is unwriteable. I've tried DVD+R, DVD-R, big name, small names - no go. Any ideas? The discs ARE writeable on this 32-bit old tyme 'puter. Running Zorin-32, generic DVD/CD R/W, Brasero here. Running Puppy-64, Litescribe CD/DVD/BT R/W, Brasero on suspect machine. Puppy can 'see' the drive, and can read from it - just that burning gets all flamboozeled. |

If you allready have one, then nothing to loose I guess. You can clean the lens manually , but if it reads OK chances are it doesnt need cleaning . Swap the to drives on the 2 PC's & retest . Perhaps its just some puppy weirdness ? |
