597631 2007-10-03 17:54:00 I'm wanting to find something that will enable me to connect my PS1/PS2 controller to my computer (via either USB or joystick port on soundcard), for the purpose of gaming

Anyone know of such a device, where I can find one?

597634 2007-10-03 20:36:00 I'm not sure about connecting a native controller, but we have a USB PSx-like controller that's designed for the computer if it suits.

EDIT: You beat me to it Pourhommenz. :D

597635 2007-10-04 00:17:00 I have a generic no name USB - PS2 adaptor with 2 ports I bought from forlongs ages ago.

It works great and needs no drivers under XP, even my cordless PS2 controller works fine through it.

These are commonly available at many stores.

In the end though I also bought a logitech controller for around $40 just because its more convenient to just plug straight in with no adaptor. The layout and feel is near enough to identical.
