| 597571 | 2007-10-03 10:08:00 | Hi All A friend of mine who lives in Mapua is looking at getting broadband. He has spoken to Telecom who quoted him $50 a month for a 1gb plan. Just wondering if anyone knows what services for high speed internet are available in Mapua and what ISP we can look to use? Cheers |

| 597573 | 2007-10-03 10:14:00 | just looked it up. so mapua is basically away from any major towns. although i see near nelson. if it is using a device that i cant spell because its a while away from the exchange, conkland i think, then max speed will be 1mb connection. dont know why they quoted $50 telecoms website clearly states the $50 plan is the 6GB plan. im assuming its using land lines. | Cho (12330) | ||
