597392 2007-10-05 23:29:00 oh ok, well after all the guys suggestions Im lost, the only I would try is swapping peices just to test or isolate. Maybe check if your ram sticks are pushed in prioperly, some can be quite hard to click in.
Sorry I cant help much further.

597393 2007-10-06 01:01:00 Yeah all the ram sticks are pushed in properly. It's reading 2GB of ram in windows as well.

That's ok thanks for trying anyway.

I'm a bit stuck because all my friends have either AMD or C2D with an FSB that my mobo doesn't support. Or intel but a different socket. So I can't borrow a processor to see whether it is my Celeron or not...

3DMark06 is downloading at the moment. I'll post the results soon hopefully.

597394 2007-10-06 04:12:00 Just one quick thing i thought of in your bios make sure SSE is enabled if shown. As all the latest nvidia driver need to use it. apsattv (7406)
597395 2007-10-06 19:22:00 If your hard drive is running in PIO mode, that could be causing your problem.

This shows screenshots and has instructions on how to check if it's in PIO and how to change it to DMA.

597396 2007-10-07 07:15:00 you overclocked so did you have some:
good cooling, voltage mod, memory dividers and can your northbridge support the overclock settings because the memory cannot be runned faster then stock to provide a performance boost.
