It defaulted to all the max settings great I thought. But upon running it absolutely CRAWLS. Even dropping all the setting to low it still crawls. Interesting the game is OPEN GL only and has thelatest drivers loaded for the 6200 card. are your games OPEN GL? |

Yeah but a 6200 is crap compared to a 6600GT I just realised that perhaps my AMD Sempron 2800+, 1GB DDR400, Radeon 9600XT might be a good candidate for comparison, it can run FEAR on 1024*768 low details and it's pretty damn good, only time I saw lag was outisde when the field of view was very large But then a Sempron is probably better than a Celeron so I don't know how accurate that is |

| 597423 | 2007-11-30 04:25:00 | I know this thread is extremely old. But I fixed the problem! YAY! It was a bottleneck from the old Celeron D. I just bought a Intel C2D E4600. And in CSS I now get about 100fps. Woohoo. |

| 597424 | 2007-11-30 06:02:00 | Good to see you fixed the problem, now I look like an idiot for saying it shouldn't be the CPU :lol: I'm sure my celeron was never that slow, maybe I just didn't notice it as the rest of the system was so slow too. Aah well. |
