597174 2007-10-02 08:47:00 I'm trying to make my external Hard Drive work with my PC, Macintosh and Xbox 360. I got some video's stowed away on it and wanna play it on my Xbox 360.

Thing is, my MAC can't move around files on it freely. So I then format it to work with my mac, and I can't access it on my PC now. Is there a format that can let it work on both?

I'm also hoping to connect to my 360, but that'll probably work if I connect it to my PC easily.

597175 2007-10-02 09:10:00 um. i don't know of any that would be friendly to both PC and Mac. possibly use nfs which is Network file system. um don't know much about that. there are probably tools around for the Mac that will let it handle NTFS quite nicely. Don't know of any off hand as i don't have a mac so not much help. Cho (12330)
597176 2007-10-02 09:18:00 I have a portable hard drive that as the NTFS file system, and it works fine with Macs and PCs.

Never tried with a 360 so can't comment there! :o

Thats quite funny, because on my Mac it said I can't actually change anything on the drive. It becomes read only for some reason.
