597870 2007-10-04 13:24:00 I am having problems with the stop error IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL_TO. It appears to happen at random times, sometimes on the internet sometimes not. It is really annoying. I am using Windows vista premium on a sony vaio. If anyone can help me please respond. IRQL Nightmare (12886)

597872 2007-10-04 19:22:00 Be sure to check your event logs for errors reported. (Rt click 'Computer' icon on desktop/Manage/Event Viewer/Windows Logs/Application and System.

I'd do a memory test, too. (memtest86 will do it).

Good luck. This error can be hard to trace.

597873 2007-10-04 19:46:00 Its usually a driver error. Seeing as its Vista I'd say thats more than likely. pctek (84)
597874 2007-10-04 21:35:00 I checked the log and the one that matched dates of when it happens is this The DNS proxy agent was unable to allocate 0 bytes of memory. This may indicate that the system is low on virtual memory, or that the memory manager has encountered an internal error. Do you know how to fix it? IRQL Nightmare (12886)
