| 598496 | 2007-10-06 03:28:00 | ok I am trying desperatly to get some fields from a form to appear on different lines in the resultant email that is sent to the client Normally i don't have a problem with this stuff, but it just won't work when the email arrives the text is all on the same line (although wrapped of course) it seems to be ignoring the newline instructions I am getting very close to sending the whole thing as an HTML email so as to avoid this issue and i have tried variations of the newline eg \r\n <?php $script .= "I am available for work from ". $a_day." - ". $a_month." - ". $a_year." \n "; $script .= "I am required to give ". $w_notice." notice to my current employer \n"; $script .= "If offered a job i would be able to take the job up within ". $a_offer." \n"; $script .= "I intend on staying in NZ for ". $stay." \n"; ?> Any help would be appreciated as i am stumped |
