| 598237 | 2007-10-05 11:12:00 | VirtualDub. Free, simple, fast, lots of features. Cons Simple interface, lots of features but hidden, saves as AVI output, must have the codec before it can decode/encode files. It's what I used to trim/convert/compress stuff for youtube (youtube.com) |

You may also find others at video help com (http://www.videohelp.com/). But note - this site is loaded with all sorts for all formats - which means you may be scrolling a bit. But the site offers good tutorials amongst a stack of all things relating to video... |

I use it a lot for rough trimming/resizing of clips before editing in Ulead VS. |
