| 599265 | 2007-10-08 05:39:00 | whenever i buy music cds and i add it to my wmp library the names of the songs arent there or if im tryin to rip them to my 360 the names arent there either is there some way of updating the cd files? i also tried putting the songs with their names on them onto a dvd and ripping them to 360 but i dosent rip dvd's:angry |

| 599267 | 2007-10-08 06:06:00 | Sometimes it takes a few minutes for the names of the songs to appear. As Speedy says they have to be downloaded from the internet database. :) |

| 599268 | 2007-10-08 10:39:00 | If you are using WMP 11 in XP, you may need to right-click on an empty area in the top bar (by the forward/back buttons is good) to bring up the "classic" menu, left-click "tools", then "options", then the "library" tab in the options window and make sure "Retrieve Additional Information From The Internet" box is ticked, left-click "Apply" then "Ok". Also make sure you're online when you rip or play the cd. I dont think it will add the data once you have saved the files tho! If I understand your last comment correctly, I think Windows Media Player wont rip music onto DVDs, you'll need Nero or something similar for that. |
