Use a normal case fan about $10 then attach 4 cotton buds through the holes which you can get in a $2 shop and make sure you have reapplied thermalpaste properly . Stack the fan under the heatsink and make sure you get it the right way . It helped me to drop over 14 degrees during idle process . For those who cannot afford thermalpaste such as arctic silver 5 which is real silver you can do this: Mix non fluride toothpaste such as smokers brand from foodtown for $3 and Vaseline from foodtown in the baby item section for $4 . The toothpaste is an excellent conductor but it vapourises so you need to mix it with vaseline . There you have it DIY thermalpaste . Arctic silver costs $20 for 3 . 5 grams |
