| 598813 | 2007-10-06 20:07:00 | Hi In Excel help there are sometimes words coloured blue, but not underlined - I take it that these would be tooltips - i . e . pop up explanations of the meaning of the word . If I hover over these, the cursor changes to a 'hand', but clicking on them just changes them to purple (followed link) but does nothing else . Ordinary hyperlinks in the help DO work . When I right-click on the word and select properties, I get (for example for the word 'Operator'): javascript:HelpPopup('xltip9 . hlp','IDH_xldefOperat or'); Tried turning my Norton Anti-virus autoprotect and Norton Internet Security off experimentally, and changed both browsers (IE/FF) to not block popups, but didn't make any difference . I've probably done something in my tweaking to disable them . |
