I have been searching for something to do it, Ive found websites, that have no program to download, they APPEAR to have made my ip addy different but when I log into the site its the same. I downloaded a trial program, it lasted all of 1 minute. Is there anything available anyone knows of and the very best price (wink wink) Christmas is only days away |

| 600187 | 2007-10-10 09:03:00 | It's not possible to hide your IP - the only way you can mask where the connection is coming from is to route it through some kind of proxy or NAT service. Try taking a look at 'tor' - this is free, and should do what you want. It will be rather slow though! | Erayd (23) | ||

| 600190 | 2007-10-10 20:43:00 | what exactly are you trying to do, and why the need for anonyminity? You do realise that you will never ever be *completely* anonymous on the internet. I'm not familiar with Tor, but even it has its weaknesses. Your best bet would be to use a proxy service, im sure you can try googling for one. But even then, depending on your need for anonyminity, even the proxy service may log your real IP and what you are doing. |
