| 600238 | 2007-10-10 09:55:00 | Hi, Whenever I connect my 1GB Compact Flash (CF) card to my computer via either the USB cable to digital camera, or with my CF card reader I am unable to access any of the contents on the drive as it states something like the card is corrupt, etc. All the files on the card work fine (ie when I play the movies back on the digital camera itself). I have files on the card that I wish to retain so formatting the card is really not an option for me. If you need to know, my digital camera is a Fujifilm Finepix S9600. |

The files were viewable on the camera but once they were downloaded to the computer some of them were corrupt . Since we never knew which ones were damaged when taken we replaced the card with a new one . The only thing that I can suggest that you try is a data recovery program but even then the odds are slim if you are unable to even access the files . Check the following two threads for programs to try: . pcworld . co . nz/showthread . php?t=75362&highlight=photo+recovery" target="_blank">pressf1 . pcworld . co . nz . pcworld . co . nz/showthread . php?t=74899&highlight=photo+recovery" target="_blank">pressf1 . pcworld . co . nz Good luck . |

Sweet, thanks for the link for me to go have a look at. The application that I used is here: www.z-a-recovery.com |

| 600245 | 2007-10-14 06:52:00 | That is great news. I remember having an SD card fail halfway through taking some video on my camera of my son's school night. I tried some restore software with no luck and lost some great footage. | Grimy (3041) | ||
