2007-10-11 23:05:00 | Default browser latest Firefox. OS XPHome SP2. Clicking on a link in a plain text email would open Firefox & show the site, or, if already open, would show the site in a new tab. Have no idea why the change has occurred. | hermes24 (12622) | |
2007-10-11 23:15:00 | Try this (support.microsoft.com) Or this (www.fjsmjs.com)

2007-10-18 01:18:00 | Seems I need "OR this", as following the MS instructions produced a problem at the second action; it didn't work properly and gave the message: "mshtml.dll was loaded, but the DllRegisterServer entry point was not found. This file can not be registered." Since I have no idea what I'm doing, and before I progress to the "Or this" option, is there some action I should now take to undo whatever I did in the first place with the regsvr32 urlmon.dll action? | 600685 | 2007-10-18 04:11:00 | Speedy G, Apologies for not replying sooner. Registering the first three dlls succeeded. The last [msjava] did not & I suspect it's because the Sun is my java app.. I'm unable to change it to the MS version in Set Program Access & Defaults. Please advise what I should do? | hermes24 (12622) | |
2007-10-18 04:22:00 | You cant use MS Java. It wasnt included in SP2. You have to use Sun Java.

2007-10-19 05:07:00 | Speedy G, Finally tried, "or this", but in Win Explorer/Tools/Folder Options/File Types/ the _only_ listing under URL is Internet Shortcut. There is _no_ HyperText Transfer Protocol. Maybe you can advise how this can be added? | hermes24 (12622) | |
