600635 2007-10-11 09:25:00 Dial up very slow has been sofor a while Paradise net. 28 kb/s curently 4 kbps. No not a mis print. Windows XP adaware, AVG, spybot no issues found. any ideas Advocar (1098)

600640 2007-10-12 04:11:00 Live in Napier on hill. approx 3 km to exchange. Speed as per task bar. Normally 49.2 Kbps. 1980 house. 2nd jack point from road but 1st jackpoint not used. Wiring is OK, not in water etc. Will sort out Hijack and post it later Advocar (1098)
600641 2007-10-12 04:36:00 PC extreamly slow but still shows 49.2. unable to det hijack server. have pinged xtra with following results. will disconnect all telephone's and stop firewall to see if that helps

Isn't it to do with xtra mail - which is listed as currently being a "broken DNS" - (mta.xtra.co.nz)

600643 2007-10-13 01:06:00 Taken hours to download Hijack being disconnected server interupted etc . Re ping it was just an address I saw on webb . Have since pinged PC world 4 blocks returned OK 156 m/s .

Started up older PC 500 this one 1700 and old one connects at 115 . 5 Twice as fast as this one .
Windows task Mgr shows 49 Kbps link speed 29 processes, CPU usage up to 10% as it type this . Networking peaking at 52%

You're asking for trouble.

Log looks fine to me.
