| 600645 | 2007-10-13 06:28:00 | my paradise used to be pretty slow too at connection speed of 36 kbs and dounload of 1kbs but i called them and theuy said there was a problem which has been fixed but they forgot to up our line speed again. they told me to do stuff and it now goes at 50 kbd connection speed and about 5kbs download. maybe u should call them as well | nerd (109) | ||

My Time to reply m/s 184, 187, 1484, 186 approx avg time round trip 184m/s min 1484 m/s, max, avg 510 m/s. Theirs 14 m/sec How fast is your PC thanks Advocar |

| 600648 | 2007-10-23 09:11:00 | Hi all, have loaded DU meter from www.dumeter.com re PC world April mag. have been online for 39 minutes and DU meter shows 3.1 mb of down load and 397 kb outgoing. I have only done some time on downloading DU meter 1.8mb. Rest was from searching for for Dial up speed meter. I had been looking at 5MB broad band limit. This shows I would use 5Mb block very easy. have spoken to guys at work and they say 2 5mb is all they use?? DU meter has a report so it will log each days internet use. My speed DU METER graph has peaks of 81 kbps download then settles to approx 41 kbps when downloading PC World pages. Is this fast for Dialup. Must admit I used Broadband over weekend and enjoyed the speed but usage costs look like they will tripple???? | Advocar (1098) | ||
