601133 2007-10-13 23:47:00 I have just bought a server that has a Adaptec - AIC-7890 SCSI Controller, I thought I knew about SCSI as I used to use it a few years ago, however it turns out there are many different types of SCSI. Can someone tell me what kind of hard drives I would need to use with this card?

All help greatly appreciated :)

And SCSI hdd's arent exactly cheap.

Obviously u cant use normal IDE hdd, they've got different connectors.

It looks like that card supports Ultra 2 SCSI.

Info here (www.adaptec.com)
