602018 2007-10-16 04:01:00 Hello members
Does anyone know of some good files&folders synchronising software?
I have installed SyncToy but for having on a schedule I have to go through the Scheduled Tasks which also means I have to set password for the account(which I don't want to have).
Any luck?

Thanks

602020 2007-10-16 21:05:00 you could just write a batchfile and use xcopy :) with the appropriate switches it will sync 2 directories just fine.

Then there microsofts briefcase, confusing and awkward but works for some people

I have tried the briefcase(fairly sort of ancient setup, awkward) and also Synctoy(which is better, though still very, very basic)
Took Avon's suggestion and am very happy with that little Syncback programm.
Thanks Avon!

Minor correction - Cruzer Sync (at least that is what is on my Sandisk U3 flash disk).

I use Smart Sync Pro between my main pc, laptop, and family pc. It synchronises automatically each day according to a profile that you set. Have used it happily for years. http://www.smsync.com/
