| 601819 | 2007-10-15 11:35:00 | I want to make a .bat file into .exe so went looking for batch file compilers found them through google, mostly have to pay so just using trials for now now the weird thing is... for some reason the compiled exe files seem to be identified as infected by AVG free I've tried a few compilers, and sometimes even if AVG would let it pass, but if I scan it on virustotal, several AV engines will show that it's infected my batch file is very simple and don't do any harm, but why are they being mistaken as infected once they get compiled? I don't know how these batch compilers work.. but if virus alerts keep going off.. someone might need to teach me how to use C# (or something else) to run batch file :D |

| 601821 | 2007-10-15 20:45:00 | just making a batch file that can copy files across was thinking of making it autorun on my usb so everytime I plug it in it'll backup some of my files can't seem to get autorun.inf to work with bat so was thinking making it into exe I think I might just leave it alone if it's just false-positive... was afraid the compilers were secretly doing something weird.. |
