| 601440 | 2007-10-14 23:35:00 | im looking for some cataloging software for linux, as the topic title suggests, used where is it on windows, but want to run something that is native to linux. Anyone use such software be able to point me in the right direction. as i label all my DVD's with numbers, as they have a lot on them, for back ups and stuff. only ones i have found ya gotta pay for, and would like an opensource program if possible. i should prob look at sourceforge as google didnt come back with anything useful |

I'm looking into a couple at the moment -- www.dvdspot.com and http: The advantage with these are they're OS-independant :) The disadvantage is, of course, you need to be online to use them :D [Edit: Just re-read your post, and see that you're probably not wanting to catalogue movie or music discs! However, there may be an online solution to ewhat you'd like to do ... just a thought.] |
