I am a little confused at the moment on trying to get my Rules set up in the office for my e-mails and am hoping that you guys can help me out on this one.

Here is what my Outlook looks at the moment:

The Inbox Rules are working pretty well BUT - for my admin e-mails - they are appearing in the inbox twice - once in the Internal E-mails folder and again in the Admins folder. I have sent up using the gobal directory for our company All Users At All offices to go into the Internal E-mail folder, because there are 1000's of employees here and it would take far too long to add everyone. The problem is - I can't seem to work out how to delete only 3 or 4 people from that whole "All Users" list, so that the admins don't go into the internal mail, they go into the Admin folder.

For the sent items - this isn't working at all. I set it up the same as the inbox but ... it only puts e-mails that are sent to EVERYONE in the Internal outbox - if i send it to only two people in the company, then it doesn't put those e-mails into the right folder.

Also for my customer e-mails - how can i set it up so that EVERY e-mail I send is put into that folder apart from the internal e-mails?

I hope all this makes sense ... I for the life of me can't work this out 		Pourhommenz (104)
601329 2007-10-14 21:32:00 When you edit the rules isn't there an exception field, about the third screen of the rules wizard

hang on

Go to

Tools -> Rules and Alerts double click on the rule that is sending the emails to the INTERNAL folder
click NEXT on the first 2 screens that appear (which cond do you want to check and where do you want to move it to)
there should now be a screen that says "Are there any exceptions" and this is where you add the people you don't want this rule to apply to

I use this quite often

as for the sent problem i can't help you there as my attempts at sending rules have ended disastrously 		Morgenmuffel (187)
