| 601641 | 2007-10-18 20:04:00 | The seal is there as a warranty protection from Compaq, "technically" if a non compaq repair agent goes into the PC to install or upgrade components and something is damaged or the PC failes at a later date then Compaq can and have used that as an excuse not to cover any warranty. Compaq like to be exclusive. Yes, technically if something was damaged. In all other cases the CGA overrides their stupid rules. |
