| 602937 | 2007-10-19 02:59:00 | Now that is ingenious of the keyboard. :D Check the device manager to see if there is a yellow exclamation mark (!) beside your keyboard. When did this start to happen? (After installing a new OS?) Cheers :) |

I don't know, but have you checked that the wires aren't damaged, and none of the keys are stuck down. Often when there is a problem with a ps keyboard, I have found that the PC beeps when you start it up. If it is old it may be just broken, and I don't think that it is the best of brands. |

| 602943 | 2007-10-19 05:06:00 | This may sound strange, but it will test the keyboard - Try entering the BIOS - normally DELETE key or it will usually say when the PC first boots as to what key to hit. This is a real basic function - as in not yet loading any of the drivers in Windows. If it works there try going into safe mode when the PC first starts, by hitting the F8 Key, this loads windows with basic drivers, if this all works and not in normal mode, then there is a driver problem. If it wont even allow you to enter the BIOS or safe mode its broken - replace it. Or the PS/2 port on the Motherboard is knackered - try another keyboard to find out which. |
