602918	2007-10-19 01:41:00	Over the last day all the text based emails I have received in Outlook XP have been coming through with .txt attachments. These text attachments contain the exact text that is inside the body of the email. I have tried out another computer with the same software, and receiving email from the same account, and the problem doesn't happen. So it seem isolated to this particular computer and outlook xp. I have also tried an ISP based email account, and the same thing is happening, so I am sure it is an Outlook XP problem. I have done a search on google, but can't find an answer. There was someone with the same problem, but noone answered it. Anyone have an answer? TIA	robbyp (2751)

602921	2007-10-19 04:53:00	What a weak #!!@##! suggestion! I agree, and I think doing that will cause more problems than it will solve. However I think I have managed to fix it by using the 'detect and repair' feature in the menu of outlook, and amazingly it seems to have fixed it!	robbyp (2751)

If it was only a 1 day old problem thats what system restore is for. If I had the choice of spending possible hours or days trying to sort out a problem or use restore and fix it in a couple of minutes, I know what I would rather do.	wainuitech (129)
