| 602823 | 2007-10-18 19:22:00 | Go to Speedy's Sig (pressf1.pcworld.co.nz) Download Trojan Remover, Turn Off System Restore. Install Trojan Remover and update it, run it. Download and install Ccleaner from my Sig, run that. Dump AVG and get a better Antivirus- Nod32 run that as well. Once clean, turn system restore back on. While in speedys sig, download HijackThis, put it in a folder and post back the Log - May as well see if anything else is lerking. Some Antivirus Software not always to good. Example had two PC's here in the workshop yesterday - 1 Had AVG & 1 Had Avast. The PC that had AVG was infected with a total of 87 infections, AVG said it was Clean. The Avast was better, it had 35 infections, But avast said it had 4. If you must use a free AV use avast. All the above infections were detected by Nod32, and cleaned. |
