| 602704 | 2007-10-18 04:21:00 | Intend to buy this used notebook comp; almost everything meets my requirement other than the preinstalled OS which is Windows XP Home in Chinese language! Can I reinstall the English version of Win XP Home using the OEM product Key attached to the Notebook? | bk T (215) | ||

Has it been used / activated? The prob maybe the key to the laptop, maybe for a chinese verson. It may tell you the key is invalid, when you type it in. |

It is OEM and has been activated (I presume) as he has been using it for 4 months already. So you doubt that I can use the English ver of XP Home to install and activate it on this machine. Maybe I should phone MS to confirm this before buying it. |
