602519 2007-10-17 17:52:00 I do a newsletter which I send out in .pdf format. One club member (who has a Mac computer) can’t read this – looks like gobbley –gook. :(

I convert my original Publisher files to .pdf format using pdf995. Any ideas as to what might be wrong that we (either her or me) can fix?

And sorry, I should have asked her which OS she uses, but I didn't. Of note, is that another club member who also has a Mac has no problems (he will certainly have the latest software for his Mac).

602520 2007-10-17 18:57:00 They are probably using OS 9 as OS X will open PDF files in preview or safari

They may have to download and install Adobe Reader
If they already have it installed save the PDF to the desktop and Open the file from within Adobe.
Safari (3993)
602521 2007-10-17 22:28:00 She has Adobe Reader - still doesn't work! Oh dear.... R.M. (561)
602522 2007-10-17 23:08:00 "Reminder to oneself - read fully before replying!"

I will get her to try that, and THEN I will report back . . . .

Thank you for your input . :)
