| 602029 | 2007-10-16 05:19:00 | ASRock P4i65G motherboard with AGP expansion slot, this board has Integrated Intel Extreme Graphics 2, question - can I fit another graphics card to improve the system and if so what do you recommend? Thanks :nerd: |

| 602031 | 2007-10-16 05:44:00 | Ive got the same mobo here. The onboard is ok but has a max of 96mb. If youre not worried about this, there's nothing wrong with the onboard video. But according to the Asrock site, its DirectX 8 not 9. So may not take advantage of whatever DirectX 9 has to offer. I just chucked an ATI DVI AGP 256mb card in it. Its fine. |

If its just simple 2D work then something like a Radeon 9550 would be sufficient, if your gaming then the X1950XT is the best card you can get on the AGP bus. If your a gamer it would be time to seriously consider a full system upgrade, any money you spend on that system is a waste as any new parts cant be carried to a new system. |
