602361 2007-10-18 01:44:00 Because it's fast, look stylish and simple. I don't know about anything about security or anything like that. Maybe the appearance and interface attract me. And it's cheap for OS itself. Thanks for asking

Your sorted regarding security, the rest of it is pretty straight forward

602362 2007-10-18 01:45:00 Apple do flexi rent and MacBooks are priced from $1,848 with a possible MacBook nano due out near December.

Start saving.

If I buy, I will but MacBook Pro. It's much faster and better graphic card. i don't know why but I hate shared graphic. Anyway, Mac Book Pro is still too expensive. I have to wait for now.

602363 2007-10-18 01:49:00 With any luck the MacBook Pro may get a price "adjustment" in the not to distant future after the rumoured MacBook Nano gets released around Jan (MacWorld???) next year or the current model will get a slight price reduction when the newer model replaces it. winmacguy (3367)
602364 2007-10-18 01:53:00 Vista Ultimate is one of 4 Windows Vista Operating systems.
Does Leopard come in 4 different versions?
If you have a current Mac will the upgrade be free?

Leopard just com in only one versions which contains all the features you need
If you bought Mac between October 1, 2007 and December 29, 2007, and it does not include Mac OS X Leopard, you’re eligible to get Leopard after it’s released for just NZ$ 13.95 plus tax.

602369 2007-10-18 05:24:00 Also MacBooks are made of aluminum rather than plastic.

Actually, the MacBook Pros are made of aluminum, the MacBooks are still made of white plastic.

What is MacBook Nano???Basically a small, light laptop, possibly excluding a disk drive and possibly with solid state memory rather than a hard drive. They have been rumored for almost as long as the iPhone was, whether there is any basis for the current rumors depends on who you believe. I'd say we'll see one in the not so distant future, but there are no guarentees. Note that they will be more expensive than MacBooks. Probably around US$1999 I would imagine.

According to rumours they are going to be very aggressively priced so it will be interesting to see if they come in under the $999 US barrier.
Also waiting to see if Apple brings the Newton back as a slightly bigger form than the iPhone.
