2007-10-16 22:14:00 | So in other words he got fair market value for $1000? I still think its a bargain, the fact its not Core 2 etc is a side issue. How many home users would NEED Core 2 etc to browse the net, sell on TM and chat with their cousins in Aus? NOT MANY! No he didn't because as I said, he's got old hardware in it. All the new PCs take at least DDR2-533 now. Crap motherboard, old RAm.

2007-10-16 22:29:00 | I still dont see the reason why intel has to make crippled cpu's?...***, an E2140 dual core @ $100. Why would anyone settle for a celeron? | SolMiester (139) | |
2007-10-17 03:54:00 | For about $700-800 you could get a nice upgrade box and then just hunt for a screen in your budget and it would still be better than the quote you put up. | beeswax34 (63) | |
2007-10-17 04:26:00 | If it was running XP, it would have been a good deal, but still obsolete. In order for something to be value for money, it has to work properly, or be insanely cheap & kinda work. Not much chance of that with Vista. | Greven (91) | |
2007-10-17 05:44:00 | hello people, Yeah i had a list of computer parts to pick. I didn't know too much on computers so i just picked the standard value with great price. I mean there's this forum, local computer shops or even the Inter-Web. There's no excuse nowadays for staying ignorant about something.
