602265 2007-10-17 23:01:00 doubt it is your cpu mejo, agent was using that as an example....i would say its a driver issue...especially if during a game, or perhaps the ram....

if it locks up with memtest, probably not driver issue

something's faulty/loose/dust...?

I would expect you've got a socketed CPU, with the HSF on top those aren't likely to fall out :D but the slot ones are good for getting loose

Not a good idea, from what I've heard vacuum cleaners generate static electricity and we all know that static and computers don't get along.

Its amazing that a can of compressed air cost $30 yet you can go down to Mitre10 mega and get a cheap compressor for $100!
