603576 2007-10-20 22:45:00 My hard drive has two partitions, one with too much space, the other with to little. Is there a free program that will allow me to reset the space in the partitions?

Many thanks,
Pat.

603577 2007-10-20 22:48:00 gparted / qparted should be able to do this - just remember to back up your data first! Erayd (23)
603578 2007-10-20 23:00:00 This one is free Partition Logic (http://partitionlogic.org.uk/)

As Betch said back up your data first, just in case something goes wrong.

603580 2007-10-21 03:56:00 If one of them is your system's C drive (system drive, containing WINDOWS (or WINNT) and Program Files), you can repartition them during Windows Setup (only for NT/2000/XP/Vista tho...). Hope this helps... jwil1 (65)

Hope this helps...Windows setup can only do destructive repartitioning, it can't resize them (not sure about vista though, but certainly none of the other versions). Erayd (23)

It is a good tool, shame it hasn't been updated since Symantec bought it.
