603185 2007-10-20 02:13:00 Yes, I do all that but then get the message "proerties for this information must be defined prior to use" so I click ok then it tells me that the file is "not a personal file (.pst)". I will have to leave it until I am in the office again to try and export the file correctly.
Thanks for the step-by-step Wainuitech, I am sure I will get it right soon.

603186 2007-10-20 02:48:00 Another way to get the pst file is to click start/search Select "All Files and Folders" - then under "More Advanced" tick "search Hidden files and Folders" then in the "All or part of the file name" type in *.pst - Hit Enter When it locates the file, right click it, select " Open Containing Folder" then simply copy/paste to the folder you created before. It can then be put on a pen drive, CD, or what ever to transport to the Lappy

When importing that pst it pays to use the import function in Outlook.
