| 603571 | 2007-10-20 22:40:00 | Hi, I want to upgrade the RAM in my PC and have scanned it with the little tool from crucial.com. It tells me that I have two slots, one with 512 MB DDR PC3200, the other is empty. According to the specs that came with the computer the RAM is DDR 400. Is it the same thing, and can I just buy and install 1 GB of the DDR PC3200 in the empty slot? |

If it supports 1 GB, then no, you cant use 1 512 mb stick and a 1 GB stick. What version of Windows, is installed? Whats the brand / model of this computer? |
