604915 2007-10-24 21:21:00 Xnet is having email problem right now? It takes ages to receive an email, sending however is OK.

Am I the only one or Xnet is having a general email problem just like Xtra's bubble????

Funny you should mention that, as I have had delays in receiving emails in the last few days with xnet. Some took over 12 hours to arrive. Seems to be working ok now.

604922 2007-10-25 05:06:00 Having problem again. Just phoned Xnet and was told that they are having some 'issues' with their email. Hoping that it's not something like Xtra's Bubble :D. One thing for sure that their helpdesk is superb - waiting time is just a matter of seconds. bk T (215)
604923 2007-10-25 22:06:00 Still having problem with my email & Outlook 2003.

I could send and receive mails from Outlook but when I send an email to myself, xxx@xnet.co.nz, I can't receive it with Outlook and Xnet's webmail.

Phoned Xnet helpdesk just now but to no avail. He is saying that it's my Outlook settings. But I haven't changed any settings.

It was working fine a few days ago.

604924 2007-10-26 00:40:00 Just to update this Xnet email issue:

After several phone discussions with Xnet's helpdesk, they were quite certain that it's my Outlook and computer problem that is causing the issue; but on the other hand, I am very certain that it's their system is causing the problem. Finally, we agreed that they will 'reset' my email account. Immediately after resetting my account, everything is back to normal as it should be!

Probably, most helpdesk people just want to take the easy way out by blaming our computers. Anyway, Xnet is far, far better than Xtra's.

I'm happy that my problem has been resolved. :)
