What he wants,or to be precise what I think he wants,is not to be tied to any part of house to access INTERNET.

604704 2007-10-24 20:38:00 Go to the DSE site and look at teh Asus F5R range, they start at $1100, I got one for my brother, Barely ran, We bumped the ram up to 1.5 GB and she was beautiful.

Nice screen, Loaded with goodies, quality at an excellent price.

Though I would rather an HP!, just for quality, I get them for work @ $1440+GST with XP DC, 1GB\80GB,DVD-RW 1280*800....bluetooth and WiFi....

As for modems, we use the T3G's data cards $49 p/mth
