604549 2007-11-06 19:16:00 Its not like you guys are doing anything but aimlessly posting on forums criticizing people who are providing constructive feedback or are you guys so insecure about a crappy product that you can't even handle any negative comments?

That's a bit on the nose. Here you had someone who actually put up their hand and acknowledged there was a problem which gave the members of PF1 an informal avenue into Yellow Pages and this is how you treat them? You do realise Pourhommenz doesn't work in IT nor in the online team? Way to go.........5/5 stars.

604550 2007-11-07 01:59:00 Yeah, 5/5 stars for this one of his posts too:

And I would like to see you do a better job, rather than sitting there bitching behind your keyboard.

Informal avenue into the Yellow Pages and this is how he treats users?? If its on the nose, you can apologize to him, cos I sure as hell am not going to.

Now that is plain daft......

You said "hire us" earlier - what would your suggestions be?

Well, he wanted suggestions- well, hire us if he wants us not to ***** and do something constructive. What about that do you not get exactly?

604553 2007-11-07 08:21:00 Maybe yellowpages should hire the guys who redid the TVNZ website, as they have finally got the tvnz website working in Opera. Yay as now I don't have to use IE to view it.

It is almost as bad as the Kodia website, where the dropdown menus didn't even work properly in IE. They still aren't great but at least they are sort of working.

The reason I asked was because he didn't ask for suggestions - you volunteered yourself as an expert with the "hire us" comment to fix the problem. In your latest post you have offered to do something constructive - what exactly would that be?

As you should know this isn't about fixing the html or about browser compatibility, so if you have something constructive to add then now is your chance to show off some skills - don't hide your light under a bushel!

In any case, I wouldn't expect an organisation the size of Yellow Pages to hire a contractor via an internet forum purely on the basis of "hire us". Nor would I expect a high probability of success with your proposal given you are now having a go at two members of this forum that actually work there. So if you have some suggestions then we are all ears. But if you think this is about browser compatibility or html code, or you are wrestling with English (after advising me to apologise for your insult) ,then sorry mate but I don't fancy your chances......
