| 604539 | 2007-10-24 00:02:00 | It wasn't meant to happen - We have a database that everything runs off and it feeds out to the websites that we run. The fixes that were going through the yellow information only must have messed up something in the central banks, which means they will be working on a reboot tomorrow, meaning no work for me :D I find that the new yellow pages website doesn't work. Eg There are no search boxes. I am using opera, which is used by about 10% of web users. |

No results. and such messages. Its crap to navigate, crap to search and on the whole a complete screwup. Put it back how it was. When it actually worked properly. You would be surpised - people are really happy with the new site. We know about the "Unable to search" error message that is happening and its a bug in the software. It effects about 30% of all searchs and TRUST ME, the IT guys here are working all day and night on a fix for it, it's just a case of locating the problem. Think about it - as a company we are losing 30% of our search thats to this problem so trust me, it has the highest priority. In terms of the Canadians? Don't blame them - we started the site in Alpha and Beta before we were sold off, this has nothing to do with them. Please keep in mind that we have over 200,000 companies on our serveres and the site is still in baby steps, of course there are going to be a few problems here and there. It annoys me when people get angry at something because it doesn't work 100% or doesn't work they way THEY want it to. Guess what - the site wasn't made from YOU!!! It was made after more research than you would like to ever imagine was reviewed. The old site was CRAP and I'll admit that but people - give the new on a chance - it will get alot better. :) *End of rant and rave* |

E-Mail them or call 0800 803 803 and press option 3 and let them know :) |

You would expected that they would ahve tested it out on the main web browsers anyway. |

Can't comment on that myself, so can't say if they did or didn't but when I look at the list of faults logged with the site and what they are working on at the moment - it's understandable why something are taking a little while |

| 604546 | 2007-11-06 02:56:00 | Perhaps they could headhunt some "experts" from Xtra. The people who handled the rollout of the Yahoo! stuff could do a "real" job of the system. :badpc: | Graham L (2) | ||
| 604547 | 2007-11-06 05:30:00 | Please remember we are not part of Telecom nor Xtra. And I would like to see you do a better job, rather than sitting there bitching behind your keyboard. |

Fine, hire us and we'll fix it. Its not like you guys are doing anything but aimlessly posting on forums criticizing people who are providing constructive feedback or are you guys so insecure about a crappy product that you can't even handle any negative comments? |
