604846 2007-10-24 08:38:00 Presently use NZ City as my home page but want to change it. However going to Control Panel/ Internet options/ General, the button "Use current" is grayed out and therefore I cannot save any changes I make.

What do I do to solve this ?

Oh and anyone got a real neat homepage you use? Looked at NZ Herald and Stuff, but would like more options to check out first.

Thanks

604848 2007-10-24 08:43:00 Go to the webpage you want to be your new homepage (using IE) and go Tools > Options...Use Current there. The reason that you can't Use Current thru Control Panel is that there is no webpage open to use! jwil1 (65)
604849 2007-10-24 09:23:00 you should be able to type in the address tho....i thought that would have been obvious tho. tweak'e (69)

curly is using Firefox, not Internet Explorer.

Curly, you need to change your Homepage options in Firefox's options, not via Control Panel.

Foxys right,

To find the options menu you need to go to the tools button in the menu bar of firefox

Tools --> Options --> and click on the "Main" tab if it isn't already selected

604854 2007-10-24 21:24:00 I think spybot has an option to prevent the homepage being changed, check it out if these other solutions don't help. dugimodo (138)
604855 2007-10-24 21:35:00 Open IE, Tools, Internet Options. General Tab.
Type the home page in the URL box.
