| 604569 | 2007-10-23 09:22:00 | Does anyone have any recommendations for a freeware file download / upload manager? Was trying to upload a video to Facebook for my daughter to watch and the router disconnected just before it completed. Before doing it again I'd like to use a manager. |

| 604576 | 2007-10-24 03:47:00 | Was speaking to a friend who made a valid point. The machine receiving the file is the one that saves its, puts the markers in and knows where to resume from if it times out. The one sending it probably hasn't a clue. So it therefore makes sense that only download managers exist. I hate to admit it :o but when the thing crashed I didn't bother to see if it would resume. Just turned it off and went off and did something else. For all I know Facebook had a manager on it. Some experiments required. |
