| 605688 | 2007-10-27 00:03:00 | Search for the mobo on the MSI site, download the BIOS update. Copy it to a floppy (a bootable/system floppy). Change the bootdisk to the floppy in the BIOS. Then boot from the floppy. Follow what it says on the site, on how to flash it. Then once its updated, set the BIOS to its default settings and reconfigure it. Change the bootdisk, back to the hdd. Save the settings. Thats it. |

Have since found a thing which says how to do so with a non-fat file system. One of the points in there is this: 5.Boot the computer using a windows ME or windows 98 startup disk. It must be one of these! A plain boot disk will not be good enough. If you do not have Windows ME or 98 to create the floppy you can make one on a friend's computer. I don't have one is there any easy way to make one or some other way round it? |
