| 1415372 | 2016-02-02 21:27:00 | I sometimes hear a tune used as background music on the TV that I know quite well but do not know the name. Is there a site where I could go and perhaps hum or whistle the tune and have them tell me the name of the tune? Your help will be appreciated. Thank you. |

Shazam is an app for your smart phone that you can hold up to the TV or Radio speaker and it will give you the track/artist. |

If not, look at the credits at the end of the programme. Or you could record an extract from the tune, upload it to a free hosting site and copy the link here for us to hear it. | Greg (193) | ||

Thanks very much, Wainui. Just what I wanted. I was looking for a piece of classical music and wondered if it only did popular music but hummed the tune and received an almost instantaneous reply. I was very pleased. I have bookmarked the site as I am certain I will use it again. Much appreciated. |
