1419946 2016-05-07 19:29:00 I fixed the same IE11 issue on an HP Laptop I have here. The issue is to do with laptops with Dual graphics (switchable graphics) . I'll fire it up and see if I can find the pages I bookmarked. apsattv (7406)
1419947 2016-05-07 20:29:00 You didn't mention if you updated the Intel graphics driver?

I would give that a go

I would give that a goGraphics is by AMD. It's ATI Radeon HD 3200. I looked at drivers but if I recall, AMD weren't updating these older ones for Windows 10. The current driver date is 13 Jan 2015, ver 8.970.100.9001 Memory says this was some sort of generic driver installed by MS. If that's the case then compatibility and performance is going to suffer I suppose.

1419952 2016-05-08 16:47:00 Is the BIOS up todate?
www.asus.com

The symptoms of your IE11 problems sound similar to mine. However I was using an HP DV6 laptop with switchable graphics. Intel and radeon, Symptoms were Terrible playback in videos on Facebook. IE11 crashing, slow playback etc. Most likely something to do with hardware acceleration being broken. The culprit turned out to be a system restore had somehow reverted the drivers for the intel graphics back about 4 years and the radeon wasn't happy with it

Maybe you could try here and see if it picks up a newer driver?

www.asus.com it's the latest on the Asus site. Only up to W8.1 is listed plus it's 6yo.

support.amd.com it again today. It correctly identifies the graphics and OS but is unable to find a driver.
Looks like I'm goosed. The board is already too old for anyone to make updated drivers it seems. I'd say the writing is on the wall for this board.
At this stage I'm going to use Chrome. I've got it doing almost everything I need except for IE accelerators. Is there a shortcut to go directly to "maps" or "translate"?
Thanks for the help.

1419954 2016-05-09 18:31:00 Did you do a clean install of windows 10 or updated overtop? Maybe a try a full removal of the graphics driver?
www.wagnardmobile.com

Then do the autodetect and re-install whatever driver it finds.

Then do the autodetect and re-install whatever driver it finds.Thanks. I tried it. Very nice tool. IE didn't error for the rest of the evening however the following day it had 3 errors before 11am.
W10 was an update, not a clean install. Then there was a reset done at least once.
I suppose I could reinstall clean and i will at some stage however I'll still be stuck with the driver.
