1420451 2016-05-16 00:20:00 I would remove (uninstall)

SPYBOT (sdhelper) . You may need to reset/default internet (via control panel)
Windows Desktop Search\WindowsSearch.exe : occasionally seen that really slow down XP .
Nero\Lib\NMIndexingService.exe . Another indexing service you dont want

SearchIndexer.exe , cidaemon.exe : both also indexers, so thats 4 . I would disable them all in XP .

Perhaps get a better AV than the MS Security as well, and run a malwarebytes across it.

1420452 2016-05-16 00:24:00 That's if XP will work with a 3rd party AV protgram. But nah MSE is good enough Speedy Gonzales (78)

MSE (XP ) may not be getting sig updates . A bit of conflicting info, some said support for that stopped last year
"and Microsoft stopped producing definition updates for Windows XP on 14 July 2015.[12]" .. from MSE wiki

MSE didnt scan emails , surely thats a must have for any AV .
Avast still supports XP . Just need to make sure the manual install is done & untick most of the options

Avast freeware popups are getting worse though, yesterday I had Avast popup with the "your PC is running slow" BS .
I dont really trust a company that resorts to that sort of crap . Whats the alternative for freeware AV (that scans email) ?
Avira is OK but wont scan email on the free version.

1420454 2016-05-16 02:15:00 I dont scan for emails. Never had a prob with it. Altho I dont know if windows defender in Win10 does or not

If you get attachments if you dont know what it is, delete it. Having a 3rd party AV program, IMO is hype.

Thanks 1101 deleted the XPExplorer.exe, shame !! it was a pretty little file.

Attaching 2 screens of Spybot details, it's not necessary to do the recovery ?.

Have been getting updates for Security Centre, perhaps they think I'm one of the 600,000 businesses still running XP SP3, always check with the Custom Install tho.

Run MalwareBytes and SuperAnti weekly.
