Thanks, but have classic shell on the laptop in question. No longer interested in Start 8.
All is fine and I think my sister will be happy if she decides to buy it.

1420097 2016-05-11 04:31:00 I tried Start 8/10 but found that it took awhile to propagate on start up. Classic Shell is more like the original in that it is always there.
The tile system is good, but it is easier to select from a single column than a screen full of tiles. The answer is to only have your most used programs (don't like apps!) on Classic Shell enabling larger icons & text to be used & leave the rest on the Start Tiles.
