Yep, because Vista10 spyware is a perpetual work in progress.

1415126 2016-01-28 05:24:00 I upgraded both of our computers to Win10 mine from win7 needed a clean install to fix a couple of issues, SWMBO's upgrade from Win8.1 went perfectly, neither computer now gives us any issue everything is working as it should gary67 (56)
1415127 2016-01-28 05:31:00 Thanks for all the comments. I begin to think it might be about time - I'll tackle the laptop first. It has little on it - used mostly for presentations at the camera club. My desktop is where I do most of my work - and would be upset with any hiccups ☹️

More comments are most welcome - after all this will be where I come with any problems!

Most of the individual complaints I have seen about Win 10,are IMHO, by those persons who make a hobby of knocking MS at every opportunity.

Most complaints start with "my email has gone",so depending on your email system take some backup steps here also

Also take a image of Windows 10 not long after install as your windows 7 old folder goes after a month,I have had Windows10 fall over twice since it came out so best to image once a week

'Twas you trolling, bro.

Your opinion has no greater value than anyone's.

1415133 2016-01-28 18:44:00 I currently use Windows 7 Pro and haven't read the many posts about tech stuff around Windows 10 (kinda been keeping my head under the blankets), but was told not to hurry by my IT son. :)

I thought about it.
My brother went ahead and had no issues with his rather elderly hardware.

Seemed quite good too, far better than Win8.

And just as I was about to make the move I saw this:

www.techrepublic.com

So I haven't.

Not sure I care anymore anyway, I can't see MS lasting with the old endless Windows and Office new versions money spinning.
Everything is going tablet/phs etc.

I suspect I'll give up on the PC eventually and perhaps have some android device or linux device....or whatever is going to be the new thing after that.

So for me I see no rush in moving off Win7.

Scaremongers saying oh but MS won't "support" it doesn't bother me in the slightest, never having cared about thir patch BS either.
