1420135 2016-05-05 04:28:00 Any views on this machine? Yep, it is a reduced toner.

We had our Canon laser MFC for about 10yrs now and needs a new toner $130 but this new printer cost $130, we thought overall a better way would be a new machine. So we get double side printing and able to print via WiFi and mobile devices like power bills etc without firing up the computer. Currently it also doesn't work on x64 OS so we just made do with a old laptop or running VMWare.

Cheers :)

1420136 2016-05-05 04:35:00 I would personally jump up to a model with an ADF, but then I do quite a bit of scanning. Other than that it's fine. What do you mean by reduced toner? it takes the TN2345 which are a higher yield toner, so that's fine. wratterus (105)

did you mean it comes with a starter cartridge ?
it probably comes with a 'starter cart' that wont last long , so factor in cost of a new hi-capacity toner .

Yes starter reduced cart.
If our current one had full duplex and if it worked under x64 and we didn't have smart devices might keep the old one and got the standard sized toner.

1420141 2016-05-12 01:58:00 Normal for taking a minute to begin printing using my smartphone with the Brother app and after 2 sheets it pauses then resumes . Printer says receiving file .

LG G3 . 7 page scanned document pdf at 240 dpi .
